Welcome to Our 2024 Year in Review!

Community Events

Throughout the year, we organized a range of healing-centered community events that allowed survivors to connect, heal, and grow together. These events provided safe spaces for women to rediscover their strength, share their stories, and build supportive relationships with one another.

  • Wellness Workshops: 8 dimensions of wellness-focused workshops provided survivors with the tools to heal holistically.
  • Retreats: Our signature I Am Enough retreat hosted 25 women for a weekend of faith filled, self-care, healing, and empowerment.
  • Awareness Campaigns: We partnered with local community organizations to raise awareness about domestic abuse and  trauma on the importance of mental health through community fairs and local outreach events.
Peer Support and Healing Programs

Our peer support program has continued to offer a lifeline to many, creating an environment where survivors feel heard, understood, and supported. Women have been able to connect with peers who share similar experiences, building trust and resilience together.

Trauma-Informed Counseling Linkages: 10 women referred for ongoing mental health services

One-on-One Peer Support Sessions: 10

Group Support Circles: 60 sessions, with over 40 participants

Community Linkage and Resource Support

In partnership with local organizations, we have successfully connected survivors to critical services such as housing, legal aid, counseling, job readiness, and financial assistance. Our community linkage program helps ensure that women have access to the resources they need to rebuild their lives after abuse and trauma.

  • Housing and Shelter Services: 3 women provided with community linkage for resources for safety and housing.
  • Legal Aid and Advocacy: 5 survivors connected to receive legal support
  • Employment and Financial Assistance: 5 women linked to job readiness, training programs and financial resources
  • Counseling and Therapy: 10 survivors linked to trauma-informed counselors and mental health services

Looking Ahead

As we reflect on this year’s impact, we are filled with gratitude for every volunteer, donor, and partner who has walked alongside us on this journey. In 2025, we will continue expanding our reach and deepening our commitment to helping women heal, thrive, and reclaim their stories. Thank you for being part of this mission and for believing that healing is possible.
