Statement of Faith for Steps of H.O.P.E.

At Steps of H.O.P.E., we believe in faith as a pathway to healing. Our peer support model is grounded in compassion, empathy, and the shared experiences of women over the age of 18 who are survivors of Domestic Abuse and trauma. While our foundation is rooted in Christian beliefs, we recognize that not all survivors turn to Christianity on their healing journey, and we are committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental space where each individual can heal in their own way.

Our mission is to support survivors in finding their own path to restoration. For those who wish to explore or deepen their faith, we offer faith-based retreats, access to pastor or lay leaders for spiritual guidance, and connections to other community resources. Our services reflect our Christian principles, but we never impose our beliefs. Instead, we share how faith, particularly the love and grace of God through Jesus Christ, has transformed our lives and helped us overcome adversity.

We understand that faith is deeply personal and honor the unique spiritual journeys of those we serve. Our retreats and peer services provide a welcoming environment where participants can explore their healing with freedom and respect. Scripture, prayer, and opportunities for spiritual guidance are available for those who seek them, and participation in faith-based activities is always voluntary.

At Steps of H.O.P.E., we meet survivors where they are—offering hope, strength, and community through faith and lived experiences. We walk alongside each individual, believing that through support and exploring a pathway of healing through faith, survivors can find new beginnings, purpose, and joy beyond their pain.

This statement emphasizes the faith-based core of Steps of Hope Inc, aligned with our mission to support survivors.
